Ehtisham Ahmad, Center for Development Research, University of Bonn and London School of Economics and Political Science
Visiting Senior Fellow at the LSE (Grantham Research Institute for Climate Change and the Environment) and Pao Yu-Kong Professor at Zhejiang University. He was Senior Fellow at ZEF, University of Bonn (2010-2017), and during 1990-2009, was in the International Monetary Fund (Senior Advisor, Office of Executive Directors; Advisor and Division Chief, Fiscal Affairs Department). He has also been Special Advisor to the Finance Minister of Saudi Arabia; as well as Director of the Development Economics Research Program, STICERD, LSE (1986-1990) and Deputy Director of the Development Economics Research Center at the University of Warwick (to 1986).
Matthias Kollatz-Ahnen, Bundesrat, Berlin, Senator for Finance
Since December 2014, Dr. Matthias Kollatz-Ahnen has been Senator for Finance of Berlin. Before assuming this position, he was Senior Advisor on Finance and Regulation at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2012-14. Prior to this, he was Vice-President and member of the Management Committee of the European Investment Bank (2006-12), and managing director and a member of the management boards of the Investitionsbank Hessen (Hesse Investment Bank) and the Landestreuhandstelle Hessen (the Hesse State Trust Agency). He holds degrees in physical engineering and economics and a doctorate in engineering.
Debora Revoltella, European Investment Bank
Director of the Economics Department of the European Investment Bank since April 2011. Before joining the EIB, Debora worked for many years on CESEE, first in the research department in Comit, later as Chief Economist for CESEE in UniCredit. She holds a PhD in Economics and worked as adjunct Professor at Bocconi University. She is member of the Steering Committee of the Vienna Initiative, an alternate member of the Board of the Joint Vienna Institute and a member of the Boards of the SUERF and the Euro 50 Group.
